Rory just got back from a very enjoyable and positive Scientific Advisory Board meeting at the EBI in Hinxton. It was hugely satisfying to see the latest progress in gene annotation (including lncRNAs), which is a fundamental resource for so many colleagues worldwide.

Members of Gold Lab had the honour to meet an inspiring scientist, Jennifer Doudna, and discuss CRISPR, cancer and moments of discovery.
