Together with Co-Organisers Barbara Uszczynska-Ratajczak (Polish Academy of Sciences) and Olivia Merkel (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität), Rory just wrapped up the first ever European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) Workshop on 'Non-coding RNA medicine'. More than 120 researchers and company representatives from around the world met in Poznan, Poland, for four days of scientific presentations from 17 leading invited Speakers and participants. The Workshop provided a forum for latest research into the exciting emerging field of medicines targeting non-protein-coding RNAs, and catalysed links between academic and commercial efforts from both start-ups and big pharma.
